Local farmers and ranchers open a shop in Vitoria-Gasteiz

The shop called Uagalur is managed by Uaga (the association of farmers and ranchers of Alava, the region of which Vitoria-Gasteiz is capital).

They want to sell their own products without intermediaries -a range of more than 100 products from meat, vegetables, cheese, wine, fruit and even plants. Clients can also request to visit the farms where grow products they consume and meet the people behind.

The shop will initially be open Thrusdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They accept internet and phone requests and can be shipped home as well -ask for further information in the shop.

They ensure it is not a delicatessen place; it is intended to be a fair price shop with good quality-price relationship and only seasonal products available (do not expect tomatoes all year round).

It is located in LogroƱo Road number 7.
