Young Basque National Orchestra

During these days the Young Basque National Orchestra (Euskal Herriko Gazte Orkestra -EGO-) is looking for new young talented classical Musicians in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The aspirants -around 200- come not only from the Basque Country but from many other Spanish cities, trying to find an opportunity to start a successful career in the world of classical music. Only 30 of them will join the orchestra and their first concert will take place in July 2007.

The orchestra plans two main periods of concerts every year, which usually take place during the months of summer and winter. The rest of the year the members have the opportunity to work with international prestigious teachers.
